Vocabulary

Etiquette-When on the internet you have to have good etiquette at all time.
Conduct-You should have good conduct while surfing the web.
Courtesy-YOu should have courtesy with everyone on the internet.
Flame-You can cause a flame on the internet by causing fights between people.
Troll-A person causing a flame is a troll which can cause much damage.
Anonymous-You might be anonymous but you shouldn't disrespect anyone online.
Emoticon-You can use an emoticon to say you are happy while texting.
Obvious-It is obvious that people hack into profiles because they don't have a life.
Tone-You can text using tone to express your thoughts by using capitalization.
SMS-A lot of people utilize SMS on their phones, it is very helpful.
Ethical-You can be ethical by putting only good things.
Unethical-Unethical behavior should be punished.
Legal-Legal things are mostly the right thing to do.
Boolean search-I use boolean search to search for gasoline stations at the RGV.
URL-The url for facebook is facebook.com.

Results

The song lyrics were given out. I was not singing it or playing the guitar along with it. I still got good results. From the sixth graders I got they all got the answers right. The survey was handed out to them afterwards and they got the 5 out of 5 questions correct. By this i can tell that my product was successful. I am satisfied with my work.

Reflection

Today i was finishing my create part of the project. I am on sure if i have to publish it or not so i did not. I have the lyrics and the song together already. I chose a recognized song and put my own lyrics to it. I think i have progressed enough. I am almost finished. I just need to revise my lyrics. I rate myself  5  because i was working good enough to ge things done.

I have a good rating on my project. I have progressed a lot i have chosen my song lyrics already. When i go home today i am going to put the chords to the song. I think it will end up pretty good. I have been working hard to create a good product and i know i will make it good enough.

Design Brief



 Design Brief
10. Write a short statement of what you are going to make, why you are going to make it, and for whom you are making it.  I am making a song to teach sixth graders the design cycle to share my knowledge with them.
Formulate a Design Specification
11. What are the requirements for this assignment? The requirements are to show all the steps of the design cycle.
12. What are the limitations you have with this assignment? The limitations are that I do not really know what sixth graders can learn from.
13. How will you "test" your project? I will test this project by giving out the lyrics to the song to the sixth graders. I will know if i was successful by giving them a test about the design cycle and seeing the average passing. If the passing rates are higher than a 70% putting them all together. Because maybe some students will just put whatever or not take it seriously so i will take the total average grades.

Investigation Reflection

The evaluation i give myself is a 4. I investigated the problem and described it mentioning its relevance. I selected and analysed information from some ackwnoledged sources. I used the design cycle correctly showing step after step to solve the problem. I investigated on the taste of sixth graders and what attracts them to learning. I know i did this pretty good and will help others.

Clipgenerator and Lyricsfly

The number i give for music is a 9 because both websites help me in getting ideas for which songs are popular. this will help me to not get boring songs. also to not get songs that no one knows. From lyricsfly it has alot of music genres which makes it interesting to have a lot of variety to chose from. Clipgenerator helps me by giving me titles of popular music and giving examples and summaries of it. 

I gave lyrics a 5. This is because on lyricsfly it gives me the exact lyrics for the project that i need. It gives me the exact lyrics from the songs that i may decide to use. It also helps me to find rhyming words and put them into my own song. Clipgenerator does not give me any help for my lyrics.

For video i gave it a 5. On clipgenerator it gives me clear steps to how to create my own video. It shows good examples like videos with personalized pictures and popular songs. The lyrics fly does not show any help for me to get any ideas for my video. It does not even have a music video for the songs it has. 

For characters i gave it a 5 also. On clipgenerator i get ideas of being my own protagonist of my music video. This is a really good idea because i dont have to go around creating new characters and looking for people and stuff. Also lyrics fly help[s me to develop in thinking what the lyrics mean and how i should act it out.

I dont really know what else to write anymore. I don not really even get this. This class confuses me a lot. i do not know what everyone else is writing about.  Well i know that i am supposed to create a product to help the sixth graders to learn the design cycle. but i do not get where i am supposed to get all these words from when its all the same. You see i am like out of words already i do not know what to type. I can not find more words to type a lot of words for one simple project.

I am not making this project that simple. I want to make it unique and very different from everyone else's projects. I want it to reflect how i am and put it all together with what i like to do to create a project that will teach others what i know. I am going to share the knowledge that i carry on my brain so i do not just keep it to myself. I want to be able to communicate with the sixth graders and know what they like. Knowing what interests them will help me know what kind of project i should do.

There are not enough words in my brain to continue typing. I just know that i am going to create a music    video or a live presentation of my design cycle song. and then i am going to play it on my guitar and make the sixth graders memorize the song. I am going to use my brain to come up with song lyrics and my own chords for my song. I might use puppets to make it more entertaining. 

Well this is my last paragraph and i am just going to put what i am doing. My project is to teach sixth graders the design cycle by teaching them a song. The song will have been created by me. Both the music and lyrics will be mine and i will try to make it long enough. These are the things i am going to do. And i really do not know what to write anymore.

Tools

I want to make a music video or a love story video. I am going to use the clipgenerator and the lyricsfly to create my product. I want to get my lyrics ideas and then make my own. Then i will use the clipgenerator to create my video. I will use my ideas to make up a story to make the sixth graders learn the design cycle. I wanted to make it like a puppet show but i am not really sure where i would get the puppets from.
